Dysport Treatment Areas

Dysport is FDA-approved for moderate to severe glabellar lines (the vertical “11s” between your eyebrows). Dr. Eisenstat also uses Dysport off-label across several other areas of the face and neck. Here is how she applies it at Line Eraser MD:

Forehead lines are one of the areas where Dysport performs particularly well. The horizontal creases across your forehead are created by the frontalis muscle, which is a broad, flat muscle. Dysport’s natural spread pattern covers the frontalis evenly, which can reduce the risk of an uneven or “frozen” look. Dr. Eisenstat adjusts the number of injection points and units based on the width of your forehead and the strength of your muscle contractions.

Crow’s feet around the outer corners of the eyes respond well to Dysport. Dr. Eisenstat places small doses along the orbicularis oculi muscle, targeting the lines that fan out when you smile or squint. Because the muscle fibers here are thin, she uses precise dosing to soften the lines without affecting the natural crinkle of your smile.

Bunny lines on the bridge and sides of the nose form when you scrunch or laugh. A few strategically placed units of Dysport along the nasalis muscle smooth these creases.
